Sentinel Marine signed Agreements today with Nam Cheong Dockyard for the construction of three Anchor Handling Towing & Supply Vessels (AHTS). The AHTS vessels will be built in Fujian South East Shipyard, with deliveries between Q2 – Q4 2012. Brief specifications of the vessels:
- 5150 BHP
- DP 1
- 62T Bollard Pull
- 2 x bow thrusters
- 59 m length
- 330 sq m clear deck
- Accommodation 42 persons total
These AHTS vessels are based on the proven Khiam Chuan Marine design, which are used widely in the Asia Pacific region. All three vessels will be operated from Sentinel Marine’s office in Singapore.
