Sentinel Marine committed to zero emissions for all vessels in its maritime fleet by 2050, to meet our carbon neutral target.

Achieving this ambitious carbon neutral target throughout the entire maritime fleetĀ  is a top priority for the organisation as it works to align with global sustainability goals.

Recognising that zero-emission fuels are unlikely to be widely available in the commercial market until the 2030s, Sentinel Marine is taking a proactive approach by leveraging the tools and technologies available today to reduce emissions.

The company is intensifying its focus on its Energy Efficiency Operational Index (EEOI), using advanced trending and analysis to further refine its fuel efficiency programmes. This includes optimising Shipboard Energy Efficiency Plans and collaborating closely with stakeholders across the organisation to implement sustainable practices effectively.

To ensure progress toward its carbon neutral target, Sentinel Marine is not only improving operational efficiency but also laying the groundwork for the future. This involves active investment in research and development of cutting-edge technologies and alternative clean fuels that will enable its fleet to achieve net-zero emissions.

By combining immediate action with long-term innovation, Sentinel Marine aims to lead the way in sustainable maritime operations while making significant contributions to the global effort to combat climate change.
